Rachel Hoover 3 months agoI just visited the newly renovated 24hour fitness and was seriously impressed with all the new upgrades! They just added brand new turf, which completely elevates the space and makes workouts feel so much more dynamic. There are also a ton of new squat racks, so no more waiting around during busy times—huge plus. The new Pilates studio is absolutely beautiful—clean, modern, and such a great space to switch things up in your routine. Shoutout to Randy and Vanessa as well—they were both incredibly welcoming, helpful, and clearly put a lot of care into making this place what it is. You can tell there’s real passion behind everything they’re doing here. Overall, the improvements have completely transformed the gym. Highly recommend checking it out!
TattooViper 2 months agoToday I decided to talk to the front desk people and ask some questions. You know how it is when you’re starting back at the gym at age 48 or maybe you don’t. Ha ha. It’s a little intimidating with the young crowd. I’m not totally out of shape but I definitely have a bit of a road to travel back to being fit. I was dragging to get myself to the gym today. So, I went to the drink cooler to look for a pre-workout and ChatGPT recommended something called GHOST. I met with Javier who went out of his way to ask what was my reason for trying this drink and I let him know. He made a better suggestion with an orange flavored drink called WAR. I definitely felt like I had a better lifting session than I had in a while and according to my watch, I burned about 700 active calories doing legs, shoulders, and cardio. This inspired me to bug Javier again at the front desk, who helped me find the last powder form of WAR. I purchased it at 20% discount. I like good stuff than a responsive and I thank you for having him on your team. Thank you. Side note, the trainer, Brandon, who looks like Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, was helpful on the floor as well. When I hit a plateau, I look forward to purchasing some training sessions with him as he looks like he knows his stuff and has a friendly demeanor. Thanks, Jed Eye
Elise Medelez 2 months agoI rarely used to come to this location because it was pretty rundown before and there were never any weights available. But since the remodel, I've started coming here occasionally. The remodel is nice and spacious and there's decent airflow throughout the gym. Wish they would've set up more stations with paper towels/disinfectant/hand sanitizer. I only spotted one location on the first floor with paper towels/disinfectant and since it's a big gym, you've got to walk all the way around the room to get it. It should be more widely available throughout the gym to encourage people to wipe down their equipment after use. The one thing I greatly dislike about the remodel and why I'm giving this location 3 stars, is it seems they've replaced all the dumbells with ones that increase in increments of 5 only. It's 5lb, 10lb, 15lb, 20lb, etc. The former dumbells went up in smaller increments like 12.5lb, 15lb, 17.5lb, 20lb, 22.5lb, etc. I can use 15lbs, for example, for most upper body movements but my triceps are weaker. If I tried to use 15lbs, it would be too heavy and I could injure myself. However, the 10lbs would be much too light and not challenging enough. Sometimes I really need something in between. Maybe they do have those weight sizes still and I just couldn't find them or they were being used? But I swear I looked everywhere.
Diego Cruz 5 months agoI really like this 24 Hour Fitness. The gym has a great atmosphere, and the remodel going on is definitely making it an even better environment to work out in. Julie was especially helpful when assisting me with the recovery room—she made the process easy and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, a solid gym and looking forward to more improvements.
Mark G 3 months agoCame to the grand opening hoping they’d turned this place around, but even after the remodel it still sucks here. It somehow still looks and feels old despite the update. A lot of the equipment is worn down and doesn’t operate smoothly. The TVs are too small and placed too far away for the space. The weight stacks look faded and stained from years of use with crumbling plastic trim. Rearranging the same aging equipment isn’t a true remodel. It’s like putting fresh paint on a rusty car. 2nd day of their so called grand re-opening and there was no GM or AM here to give feedback to lol Poor leadership decision. Ended up leaving to go to EOS Hawaiian Gardens to use some decent equipment and actually get a good work out.
