Last time I was here this was a Golds Gym location. Not to impressed : Only 1 ceiling fan and 1 large screen monitor for the entire first floor. How cheap can they be and charge same monthly as better locations. Machine mounted monitors dont work at all. Not an enjoyable experience but still better then Golds was for the money

The building has two floors and has a cardio area, a weight training area, a massage area, lockers, a bathroom for all genders, bathrooms with showers for women only, and another for men only. It is super spacious. It is really well equipped , staff is very respectful and they are always cleaning and disinfecting the machines.

The equipment is nice and well maintained and the gym is always clean. My biggest complaint is it's always warm and the one big fan doesn't reach anywhere except right below it. They need more fans or to put the a/c on.

Beautiful and clean gym. They also have a lot of equipment and they all work. I like the fact that it has 2 floors. The showers were very clean and so we're the changing areas. The down side for me as a person with a heavy customer service background is that the front desk didnt say a word to me when I walked in. Not a single greeting and there were 3 of them in the front. It was also the middle of the day probably 1 pm. I say that because I dont make a big deal with greetings when its early morning or super late at night because people are usually tired or drained. I didnt pay it any mind but honestly its disturbing. Ive been to plenty of Planets in Long Beach and they all greet and ask if everything is going good. They were just talking to each other and paying me no mind. One of the guys even made eye contact with me and didnt say a word. I also didnt like the fact that it was a new gym but they didnt have lockless lockers. However the cleaning crew you all are doing an amazing job because the gym is spotless.

I called to cancel my membership because I was no longer using it, and staff confirmed it was closed. However, I was charged again later. When I called to dispute it, I was told cancellations must be done in person. I went into the branch, only to be charged an additional $25 billing fee. I explained this was an employee error, but staff told me only a manager could waive it. I reached out via phone and email but received zero response for months while the charges continued. When I finally reached a manager, they only offered a partial refund. They claimed they could not verify my previous requests because the employee who handled them had been fired. Other staff members later confirmed to me that this specific employee was let go for consistently failing to process cancellations correctly. I should not be financially penalized for internal staff incompetence and poor record-keeping.
