I’ve been coming to Belmont Shore consistently for a while now, and it’s easily one of my favorite gyms. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which makes every visit a positive experience. The members are just as great—everyone is respectful, and there’s a strong sense of community without feeling intimidating. It really captures the laid-back, friendly Long Beach vibe. The gym itself has just about everything you need, whether you’re into strength training, cardio, or just trying to stay active. The equipment is well-maintained, and I’ve rarely had trouble getting the workout I wanted. If you’re looking for a gym with a great atmosphere, kind people, and all the essentials, I highly recommend Belmont Shore.

I was in Long Beach for one month and joined the club on a trial membership. I hated to leave! The classes are excellent and can accommodate all fitness levels. Very impressed with the quality of the instructors! Big shout out to Justin who leads a demanding workout combined with AWESOME music! It’s like playing “Name That Tune” as you exercise. The classes fly by! I hope to be back next year!!!

Really enjoying this well-managed gym! The people are friendly, it has a positive and down-to-earth sense of community, and the facility is always clean. Nicole and her staff do a great job creating such a welcoming environment.

Great gym with a welcoming atmosphere. Many of my family/friends are members. The facility is always clean, well maintained, and never feels overcrowded. There’s also a wide variety of equipment available. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, especially the GM Nicole!

The Belmont Athletic Club is a spacious and well-equipped gym with lots of room and equipment to satisfy all our training needs. The cardio room has tons of treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, there are lots of workout classes (from barre to cycling to yoga to pilates) and just generally lots of different spaces to work out in. Best of all, the staff is incredibly friendly, greeting us by name with a smile every time we enter the door. It really feels like a community here. My parents are both full-time members and through their membership the Belmont Athletic Club offers short-term membership plans to their kids (me!) when I am visiting. This is the most convenient way to stay in shape when I'm home for the holidays! Highly recommend!
