I’ve been training at Sweat for about 14 months and can’t say enough positive things about the experience. The trainers and staff are incredibly welcoming, helpful, and supportive — special shoutout to Starlight and Tamar. I came in with limited strength training experience, but that didn’t matter. The coaches provide clear guidance and demonstrations, so even beginners can jump in and feel confident. There’s also a genuinely great culture and sense of community that makes you want to keep showing up.

I absolutely love SWEAT DC – Park View! The staff are so fun and welcoming, and the coaches are amazing. Every class leaves me feeling confident, challenged, and motivated to keep pushing myself. The gym is always very clean and well maintained, which I really appreciate. The community truly feels like family while still maintaining a high level of professionalism. I’m so happy I found this place!

I would give SWEAT more than 5 stars if I could. I have been a member since their original studio and will remain a member for as long as I am in DC. The coaches are phenomenal, the staff is responsive and cultivate a joyful environment. The community is welcoming and inclusive. The group classes are fun, fast, accessible for all fitness levels and effective. The personal training sessions are phenomenal. Major shout out to Vic, G and Chase for their leadership, Tamar, Starlight, Alex C and K for their coaching and Byron for his community management.

Tamar is the absolute best and exactly what I needed to stay committed to my goals. No matter how chaotic or changing the gym environment gets day to day, Tamar is the reliable constant that keeps me coming back. He brings a steady, consistent energy to every single session that naturally motivates you to do your best. He knows exactly how to push me to show up, put in the hard work, and crush my lifts every single time. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I walked into this gym 4 years ago and it was a one way ticket. An incredible community from beginning to end of the experience. These kinds of spaces can be intimidating, but at SWEAT everyone’s there to support each other and better themselves. The program is perfect and adaptable to every level, no matter the age, capabilities, or anything, you can make it work for you. It’s been a wonderful journey and I’m excited to see how this place keeps expanding!
