I am under the impression that the people who complain about things like "the instructor has changed multiple times," "ever since management changed, this have gone downhill," or "the group fitness light has been broken for 4 to 5 months" are just bitter people who have nothing better to do. I've been a member at this gym since it opened in 2022 and I will be the first to say that this is a very good gym. The staff is always welcoming and friendly no matter who is at the front. Sure there are a few machines that may be out of service, but patience is a virtue. It seems like these comments about broken machinery tend to forget to mention that their fellow members slam the machines which breaks them. Which in turn adds more to this amazing staff's list of things to do. If there is anything to criticize about this place is the lack of respect for the that the MEMBERS have for the gym AND staff. There have been multiple times where I've walked in on member yelling at the staff because they have to pay their bill. Seriously? You are upset because YOU are broke. Sounds a little insane to me. Kaylah (the gm to my understanding), Paul, Abigail, and Eric are very professional, very helpful, and very refreshing to see because they make this gym feel more like home than most gyms. In short, VASA Eagle Creek is a great gym and I recommend it to so many people. If you don't like this gym and/or looking for a reason to just complain then there is a Plant Fitness and LA Fitness within walking distance. I'm sure they will love to hear you complain there.

THEY HAVE LITERALLY STOLEN FROM US!!! Canceled our membership on day 55 under the contact terms (cancel prior to 60 days) and were changed the “rate guarantee” fee of $60. Why would I need a rate guarantee if I’m canceling my membership????? Hung up on me and refused to refund. Be careful folks. They are sneaky and they will charge you no matter what! This is also for 3 memberships so you can imagine my disgust. I should also mention that they don’t monitor or care that people play their speakers loud with horrible music in every area of that gym. The sauna is the worst! It’s supposed to be relaxing and all I hear is foul music and people screaming into their phone.

My overall experience at this gym has been mostly positive. The people are friendly, the hours are great, and there’s a lot of equipment available. However, there are a few ongoing issues that are hard to ignore. Over the past week (5/4/26–5/8/26), the gym failed to open at 4 AM multiple times, leaving 20–30 people waiting outside. Someone did eventually arrive 10–15 minutes later to open up, and I understand occasional mistakes happen, but when people build their schedules around early morning workouts, it creates a major inconvenience. Another issue is equipment maintenance. The gym installed a lot of brand-new equipment back in February, which was a great improvement, but many of the older machines now desperately need attention. To put it simply: why remodel the house if the foundation is cracked? A lot of the problems seem minor and fixable. Several machines just need basic maintenance and tightening. Both overhead press benches wobble far more than they should. The leg extension and leg curl machines feel loose and uneven to the point that I personally avoid using them. Most of the cable attachments are heavily worn down, with missing or loose rubber grips, and some handles are damaged on one side while the other side is fine. The swimming pool is a nice feature for the price, but if you swim underwater with goggles on, the cleanliness becomes questionable very quickly due to the amount of debris floating around. The sauna also frequently struggles to get hot, sometimes only reaching around 130°F. My girlfriend says the women’s locker room is nice, but the men’s shower area is consistently dirty. That said, there’s still a lot this gym does really well: Excellent hours Three full dumbbell sets Six dual-pulley cable machines Multiple duplicates of major equipment Dedicated squat/deadlift room Plenty of plates available Large variety of machines Clean weight area 40+ cardio machines that seem reliably maintained Relaxed front lounge/study area Friendly gym community This place has the potential to easily be a 5-star gym if management addresses the maintenance and cleanliness issues. Right now, though, I’d give it 2 stars as-is.

Coach Eric (Studio Red 6-7am Eagle Creek, IN location) is amazing! He brings high energy to every class and consistently motivates each person in the room. Even when the workout gets tough🏃🏾‍♀️, he takes the time to encourage and support those who are struggling, helping them push through and get back into it. His💯 positivity and dedication really make a difference you leave feeling accomplished and inspired every time! 💪🏾

First off, I want to say I love the Vasa brand. The layout, amount of equipment, and size offers everything someone would need. My reason for a 1 star with this particular Vasa is due to the management and lack of upkeep throughout the gym. I've been a member since this gym opened and it continues to decline. See included photos and following explanation. The machines are starting to fall apart, the dumbbells are missing rubber and have not been replaced and the water fountain filters are never changed and go for months without fixing. The men's urinal is wrapped up more often then it works and that's besides the toilets that leak on the floors, faucets that never work, and soap that is always empty in at least 2 of the 4 dispensers. The incline bench has a piece that was installed backwards so when someone adds a plate over 25lbs, it blocks the individual from being able to rack the bar. I've had to help multiple people who could not get the bar racked. There is a light that has been out for 2 years and now there are 4 out that have not been repaired. The walls are damaged and not repaired, painted, or maintained. Yoga mats are damaged and not not replaced and cable equipment is broken and "fixed" in ways that cause concern for injury. On top of that, the parking lot is not cleaned with unacceptable amounts of trash lying around and that's tolerable in comparison to the amount of broken glass in the parking lot. Overall, the gym is great, however, management has a lot of work to do and standards to uphold that are far from met.
