I love this gym!! The pool is so fun over the summer. The drinks and food are bomb. The yoga and spin classes are impeccable and instructors are incredible, fun and very knowledgeable. PERSONAL TRAINING WITH DILLON IS THE MOVE!!! He knows his stuff and is AWESOME!! Treat yourself to some sessions with him and you’ll see you can do more than you think you’re capable of. It’s so worth it. The front desk staff and management are awesome and so friendly. The gym has all the equipment you’ll need!!

The Holiday Party at Merritt Club Fort Avenue was amazing. General Manager did all of the cooking. They had a full course meal including dessert! Beverages included every type of wine and beer selection from local breweries! It was truly a customer appreciation event as well as a holiday party! We are all grateful for Merritt… Merritt Clubs has been my “home gym” for over 10 years!

Joining this gym has greatly improved my commitment to fitness and mental health. It’s clean, people are respectful of your space, and there is more than enough equipment to get a solid workout in. Wolff is an excellent personal trainer. His coaching has helped me level up my strength training routine. I appreciate his knowledge, positive attitude, and consistent communication. I highly recommend him as a personal trainer. Cliff, the front desk staff, and management really care about their members. Everyone is cool/normal and eager to build community. For example, they pass out free popsicles on hot days at the pool. Speaking of the pool, Q is an awesome life guard, and the entire bar & cook staff is friendly. I talk to other members on pool days and have made some new friends. The fact that I joined three months ago and know so many staff members & regulars by name speaks to the awesome culture of this location. It’s nice belonging to an excellent gym in terms of personal training, equipment, cleanliness, classes, etc. where people are also kind. I am so happy with my membership. Thank you for reminding me that decent customer service really does still exist.

This is my primary gym and I pay $60 a month for it. So far I've really enjoyed my experience here mainly because it has everything I need and is open 24/7 which is a beautiful thing. I work at the hospital and my hours very unstable so being able to go to the gym at any moment of the day makes things very convinient for my very inconvenient schedule. If you go through my pictures I've hit basically every question I had was checking it out. There's also a pool but it's outdoor so it's closed for the season and will reopen in the summer. Contract lasts a year from sign up so if you want to break it before the year you'll pay a hefty fee. Also you have to mail or come in to cancel so take that into account. If you have no intentions of moving out of Maryland within a year it's worth the investment. Hope this helps!

The place is so nice, lots to do; the people are very helpful and hospitable. Wolf is the leader of the pack! Super guy! Awesome! Kind, considerate, pleasant and thoughtful. Knowledgeable too. Highly recommend!
