I tried to sign up for Blue Moon’s “cancer and diabetes patient” membership. This membership has been offered for many years and is readily advertised on Blue Moon’s web site. I filled out the required form on the website and made an appointment to visit the gym to complete my membership. When I arrived for my appointment, the employee had no idea about my appointment. Furthermore, he said he had “never heard of that membership program.” He asked where I heard of it, and I referred him to the website. I also showed him the text confirmation of my appointment. He called his manager, and the manager claimed ignorance to the membership and my appointment. The employee then took my name and number and said someone would call me. No one ever called! I was previously a member of the same Blue Moon’s several years ago and was hoping to rejoin. However, after having employees and managers not familiar with a longstanding membership program, ignoring an appointment, and not returning my call, I figured it was a sign that it is not a good place to join.

I cancelled my membership in September 2025 and kept getting charged, I went to talk to the employees again and they said they would get me cancelled and refunded. I still keep getting charged and there is no one it seems to contact on the website or anything. I don't want to take legal action but I'm at the end of my rope about doing this. The gym is definitely not worth the hassle.

The central location recieves 5 stars because the Gym was much more clean than the past couple months ive been going, staff have seemed more helpful, especially Austyn and Noah who helped me and showed me around the gym. They seem very knowledgeable and well trained. Gym equipment is cleaner and there is always disinfecting spray and paper towels to wipe the machines. I feel like ive seen a massive change in the environment in the last couple weeks in cleanliness and the social environment.

A complete scam as far as pricing and charges. Staff will tell you that they have canceled your membership over the phone- but they require you to mail in or sign a document on location to cancel. If you cancel your membership with one month's notice per their agreement, they will still continue to charge you. Have everything in writing or keep your documentation with this gym- they will scam you and overcharge again and again. Be prepared to close whatever account you provide them with.

They continue to rip me off. I always signed up for Blue Moon when I’d visit my family for a month at a time, because I usually live outside of the country. Each time, I’d ask them to cancel the contract before the end of the month. The employees always confirmed it was canceled. In 2024, they charged me a few hundred dollars. They refused to answer my emails. My father had to go in and request the refund multiple times before they finally did it. Now, again, it’s happening. I canceled my membership back in December. They’re continuing to charge me fees. They’re ignoring my emails. I will again have to ask my dad to demand a refund. This is ridiculous.
