Denise T 5 months agoWell, I like to give this gym five stars all the way round service was amazing. It’s a clean gym. It’s very quiet if you want to grow and not have to be in an area there’s so many people. This is the right gym for you. I was at the gym for a whole year and I feel that it’s time for me to go and I enjoyed all of it and I have nothing but good things to talk about this gym and just going forward. I pray that this gym stays open and people come in sees the great equipment they have to offer to the community. Remember this gym is 24 hours. It’s open seven days a week 365 days a year and if you’re someone like me who loves to work out and likes to be away from people this is your perfect gym.
Chris Grifasi 4 months agoThis is a fantastic training facility. Great for anyone that wants to get fit, and even better for those looking to take their fitness experience to the next level. Equipment is in fantastic shape and you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into what they purchased. The staff is helpful, friendly, and extremely pleasant to be around. This is not a gym that makes the process of getting signed on or signed-off for that matter a difficult process. Plus, its open 24 hours a day, which is a must for a busy schedule. Best gym I've personally been to in the Albuquerque area.
Franco 3 months agoThis gym has honestly helped me grow not only physically, but mentally as well. Since I started coming here, I’ve seen a huge improvement in my discipline, overall mindset. One of the things I really appreciate is how welcoming the environment is. Everyone here is focused on their goals, but at the same time the atmosphere feels supportive and motivating. Ken has helped me a lot in my growth and has taught me how to push past my limits. The aesthetic of the gym is also amazing. The darker style gives it a serious, focused aesthetic. On top of that, the gym has great equipment and machines. Everything feels solid, well maintained, and designed for serious training. It makes a big difference when you have access to machines that allow you to train properly. Overall, this gym has been a huge part of my growth both physically and mentally. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a motivating environment with great equipment and an atmosphere that pushes you to improve.
Izzy 5 months agoUnfortunately this is my first negative review that I have to write. The open gym has been my home gym for the past ten years, and I have loved the community I have built here. Steve and Bryan (personal trainers) are some of the best human beings and continue to be to this day. Recently the gym was bought by a couple of new owners and they expanded the gym and raised prices, which I thought was fair for the new space and equipment, and of course I was supporting a local business. However, one of the gym owners, Ken, has made this an unwelcoming space. He acts in a way that is both unprofessional and hostile, and seemingly has a vendetta against certain people (never against me but it is sad to see how he targets certain people). I have seen him make false claims against people and be passive aggressive. Multiple people have complained that he is either listening in to conversations or watching people through his cameras. All in all, he’s just made many people feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. I no longer feel like this is a safe or empowering place to train. I know many people probably won’t have to really interact with this guy, but I want to make people aware. Honestly, so sad to see what this place has become. If you are looking for a local gym there are plenty of options including Iron Soul, Iron Verse, Powerflex, and United Fit all of which are 24/7 gyms and more reasonably priced. Lol, wrong person but good guess!
Rebecca Sanchez a year agoAbsolutely love this gym! Huge plus that they offer kangen water as that’s what I usually drink. Well worth it to pay the $20 for 24 hour access with the insurance discount. My other gym closes early on the weekends and I’m a night owl so 24 hour access is a blessing! Friendly staff and lots of great equipment. Love the aesthetic of the all black room too!
