This is the best gym in the area—clean, spacious, and equipped with a complete range of facilities! Their instructors are excellent, especially Gabriel Carino and Amanda Rattigan, who are particularly professional and patient!

Everything is clean and functional. Staff is friendly and helpful. The constant texts for “feedback” and reviews are irritating. They also enjoy calling incessantly if you haven’t joined the gym yet. Despite the persistent calls and texts, it is a great network of gyms. If you can afford to go to multiple locations or have a deal with your employer to allow that program to work for you, it’s really convenient. The THRIVE program is even more $$ on top of the gym membership - a good program but pricy and there is pressure to join when you’re getting started.

This place is AMAZING!!! Today was my first time going after signing up and my first session with Trainer Noah. He was fantastic! I felt amazing after the workout and can't wait to go back. Everyone on staff was also so helpful in helping me find my way around. 10 stars!!!

Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t the best here. Last Saturday, I visited in person with a friend because we were interested in trying a fitness class before committing to a membership. I had already completed the online portion ahead of time. Dave greeted us and gave us a tour of the gym, which we appreciated. However, even after we clearly explained that we wanted to trial a HIIT/barre class before signing up, we felt pressured to purchase a membership right away. Eventually, we scheduled a trial class for the following Friday. However, I never received a confirmation email. When I called back on Wednesday to check, I was told that we had never actually been signed up. I was then informed that Dave was running late that day and that I would need to call back again later to book the class. This was frustrating and disappointing, especially since we had already taken the time to visit in person and thought everything had been arranged. The end result was that we never trialed the HIIT/barre and would not sign up for the membership (especially after reading other 1 star reviews). The reason I gave 2 stars (instead of 1) was because I had Alex who helped explained the whole situation, which I appreciated. Overall, the lack of organization and follow-through made for a poor first impression.

I love City Fitness! I go to the East Market location and it’s the best part of my day. The people who work there are so kind and encouraging. They make me feel like a part of the community! I can’t recommend City Fitness enough. Shout out to Kai, Noah, and Emma for being the best morning crew!
