David De Maria 2 years agoI have been going to Pro Club for several months now. I typically go in the morning around 9am. The gym is quiet… Not a lot of people. But, enough to make you feel not alone. I definitely get my choice of what machines I want without having to wait. The gym is super clean. The staff is always friendly. The locker rooms are great too. Very clean and organized. There is a wet and dry sauna along with a jacuzzi. showers too. Parking is easy and they validate. So far so good…. I recommend!
Dylan Miller 4 months agoUpdating my review, now that I see our dues have been raised yet again, without any notice. Bay Club also seems to be really abusing this family/group membership stuff, packing in the gym with several people paying discounted rates on one of these plans. Meanwhile, my partner and I are paying more for the two of us than some of these group plans. Review: These signs should just be part of the Pro Club logo, because that's the best description of this gym -- out of service. Pro Club was on life support before Bay Club purchased it. Bay club has done absolutely nothing to improve the gym experience since purchasing it. They can however, increase your dues! Get used to repeat failures in the cardio equipment, especially the main floor treadmills that are are old and no longer maintained. One or two of them are constantly out of service. The stair climber machines are no better. They are on their last leg, and constantly have issues. Bay Club won't pay to resolve the plumbing issues with the building, so a hot tub (one of the best features this gym had) was literally walled off to members as if it never existed in the first place. In the men's locker room, they'll have restroom facilities offline, they have an ice maker machine that works 50% of the time. Seriously, how much does an ice maker cost to repair or replace? We're getting to the spring time of year, which is an anual battle with the management to fix the HVAC system so you don't feel like you're working out inside of a greenhouse. Some of the actual pros of this gym are a very friendly front desk staff, and validated parking. The rest is just year over year dues increases for a gym frozen in time as it was built in 2005. So much for Bay Club's PNW rollout.
Sydney Platt 5 months agoI have to agree with the below review. This gym needs serious updates for the prices they charge. If you have been to any other Bay Club locations, you know this location is far below the standard. You could pay the same price at Olympic Athletic Club or Equinox for a more modern and clean experience. PRO Club now charges $200/mo for: - a 100% carpeted gym - machines that have tears in the leather and weights falling apart - outdated machines in general - lack of diversity in machines - not many classes offered - ads playing during classes - lowest quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash possible in the showers The staff are all lovely but the gym and prices are silly.
Craig Dewar 5 months agoDisappointed with Pro Club's business practices. They increased my membership fees with zero advance notice - I only found out when my bill came through higher than expected. When I went to cancel, I discovered they require what amounts to nearly 60 days notice, meaning I'm forced to pay for two more months of a service I no longer want at a price I never agreed to. If you're going to impose strict cancellation policies on members, the least you can do is give them the same courtesy of notice when raising prices. Poor form.
Blake L 10 months agoI love this gym. It’s never overcrowded, and it’s one of the cleanest facilities I’ve seen in a long time. The sauna is a big deal for me—at most gyms, they’re neglected and dirty, but not here. The staff even check the temperature multiple times a day to make sure it stays hot enough, which I really appreciate. And did I mention it’s not overcrowded? That alone makes such a difference.
