Patricia Neighbor a month agoNeighborhood oriented gym with an excellent trainer running the show. Fitness Director Vicki Moen is excellent and the experienced trainers work adeptly with anyone to build and maintain fitness in a sustainable way. The gym has a variety of equipment including weight machines, free weights, treadmills, Pilate machine, bicycles, and stairclimbers including a specific one that is super steep. Classes include Les Mills Bodypump which is excellent for building lean muscle, bicycling, ballet inspired Reach, and Alex’s classes are hard, excellent, and make you jump around. Sauna in both men’s and women’s locker room and infrared room in women’s (men’s?). And the gym provides free clean workout towels. Front desk staff is consistently friendly and know fitness. There are many members committed to regular workouts and the welcoming community. This may be one of the best places on the West Coast for women older than 45 to train, get stronger, and leaner. **Much gratitude to Kari Anderson for making it all possible.**
Adam Bullock 3 months agoI have been regularly going to the gym since 2010, I have been to many gyms in many cities. This place is special! They have lots of equipment for weights and cardio. This gym has amazing staff, from the front desk to the amazing trainers. They have a great yoga class! They provide a very inclusive environment and I feel very lucky to have discovered this gym. This is my favorite gym!
Jack Clothier 2 months agoCame here while visiting Seattle just to use the sauna. It wouldn’t get hotter than around 120 degrees after waiting 45 minutes for it to heat up. Couldn’t shower afterwards either because there was no hot water. As I was leaving, I told the woman working the front desk that I wasn’t comfortable paying for low quality facilities that didn’t work. She tried to say that I still used the facilities and would have to pay the day pass fee, even though I was only there for an hour. Her explanation was that it takes a while for the sauna and hot water to heat up in the mornings… Absurd reasoning delivered with obnoxious attitude. Would avoid this place unless you live nearby and just need a conveniently located gym.
E 8 months agoGood gym, albeit a bit of an odd layout. The staff is friendly, the machines are a little older but if one breaks its often fixed quickly (compared to other gyms). Price is alright considering the economy. Over all I'd recommend joining.
Cheyenne Blue a year agoThis beautiful gym has a diverse setup of quality equipment and amenities. It’s laid out in a fashion that allows for a more private workout experience while also maintaining a positive feeling of community and togetherness. Locker rooms are equipped with luxurious amenities, saunas, showers, and a fireplace with seating arrangements. There are cardio sections of the gym, multi purpose rooms, options for fitness classes, and several other lounge areas with tables for comfort for work breaks or good conversation. Main areas of the gym include shared bins for equipment like belts, straps, chains, etc. that stay at the gym, which emphasizes the kind of integrity & decency of the company you’ll find at this facility. The staff are incredibly friendly, the gym is located in a safe neighborhood, and the trainers are absolutely top tier, offering 1:1 high end, top of the line training sessions with customized plans for each client. If you’re interested in more than just a great workout routine and you want more opportunities that support a healthy lifestyle, this gym offers the benefits to help you reach those goals.
