We have been members for 50 years, and since we live on an island, it's our go-to place when we're in Seattle. We use it for dining or just hanging out. Plus we enjoy their hotel accommodations if we're in town for an evening event.

I spend a lot of time here. I find it interesting people find the staff to be rude. That has never been my experience and I've literally camped out here. You can tell the staff really like working here and the vast majority of customers are regulars and you can see the friendship between the two. Ive spent the night in the hotel. It's not the Ritz, but it's very nice and comfortable. I find the food to be good but wish there was more varity (agter eating 3 meals here in one day). I love the events and the other members. For me, there's nothing better than working at the wac, going for a work out, getting a massage, sitting in the steam room, and rounding off the night with dinner and a glass of wine at the pub.

I was seriously considering joining the Washington Athletic Club after relocating to Seattle for an executive leadership position. Before making a decision, I sent a detailed inquiry outlining our family’s fitness needs and asking about membership options, fees, amenities, parking, and how WAC compares to other premium clubs in the area. Unfortunately, I never received any response. For a club that positions itself as a premier fitness and social organization, I was surprised by the lack of follow-up to a prospective member who was actively evaluating a long-term membership. I understand that not every inquiry can be answered immediately, but a simple acknowledgment or reply would have gone a long way. Because I never received a response, I ultimately had to continue exploring other options. Customer service and communication matter, especially when prospective members are making significant relocation and lifestyle decisions. I hope WAC improves its responsiveness to future inquiries.

I love being a member of the WAC! It fulfills several important criteria for me. First, I have a sense of community here - from knowing the name of the person who takes my member number at the front door, to other staff and members that I've gotten to know in workout classes and social events. Second, the workout classes are awesome - I love Linda and George! They're inspiring instructors. Third, this club hosts fun events, and I've made friends here. Fourth, central location and parking (I pay for unlimited parking) makes this my go-to when coming downtown for work or social events. I really appreciate the WAC!

Their isn’t a better combination of networking and fitness in the city of Seattle. Equinox doesn’t compare. The culture for playing team sports amongst member is both race and age inclusive. The amenities are well cared for and you feel cared for by your membership here. Perfect co working spaces and restaurants for any meeting type
