I had a frustrating and dishonest experience at the EOS Fitness location on Baseline & 19th Ave. Due to recently moving to a new place I was trying to transfer my membership to a different location, and I was told by an assistant manager, Liliana, that she would help me with the process and follow up by email after promising to do the gym transfer herself Unfortunately, that follow-up never happened. I reached out again and was told she would send an email and speak with management, but again, there was no communication afterward. Because I wasn’t able to get clear or consistent assistance, I ended up having to cancel my membership altogether instead of transferring, which is all I originally needed. I want to be clear that the main issue here wasn’t just policy—it was the lack of follow-through and communication after being told something would be handled. Other staff members weren’t able to help either, but they at least didn’t make promises they didn’t keep.Good customer service is about clear communication and reliability, especially when members are trying to resolve something simple. I hope management looks into improving this, because situations like this shouldn’t require this much time and effort from members.Thankfully my new place there is an LA Fitness nearby as well Good bye. LA Fitness here we come! OPERATION MANAGEMENT RESPONSE: May 08,2026 Hello Eddy! Thank you for reaching out to me! I truly apologize that it was taken care of in a timely and professional manner from what it seems. I would like to let you know there has been coaching applied to each employee to make sure that going forward your experience is seamless and on track for you to reach your fitness goals! With the initial transfer I have made sure is known across the board within all management. The problem seems to be that you were trying to transfer to Rural/Broadway while they are in their cooldown stage. To explain better when a new gym is open within EoS there is a cooldown that is applied to it where in our back end FMX tickets where we submit transfers it is not able to apply for it since again it is within that cooldown period. Our cooldown period is typically 90 days! I am sorry that this information is finally being extended and again I have coached my team to make sure that the next experience is professional and taken care of in a timely matter. MY FOLLOW UP: 06/21/2026 I wanted to post a follow-up to my original review because management responded on 05/08/2026 publicly claiming the situation would be handled “professionally and in a timely manner,” but unfortunately nothing actually changed. I was told the issue was related to a 90-day “cooldown period” for transfers to the new Rural/Broadway location. Fine — if that policy exists, it should have been communicated clearly from the beginning instead of multiple employees giving different answers and sending me in circles for weeks. What’s frustrating is that after management responded acting like the issue would finally be resolved, nobody followed up. Nobody called. Nobody fixed anything. My membership ended up canceled because of this mess, and it’s now going into the month of June after their response with still no resolution. At this point the problem seems bigger than just one employee. It feels like there’s a lack of leadership, communication, and accountability across the entire gym. The staff acts like nobody is actually in charge, and customers are left dealing with confusion and wasted time. The most disappointing part is that the manager acknowledged the experience was unprofessional and said future experiences would be handled properly — yet even after that response, the exact same thing happened again: no follow-up, no action, no solution. I honestly just wanted a simple membership transfer. That’s it. So they were not able to transfer my membership and now I’m a member of LA Fitness way better gym

My 5 star rating for this branch (at 19th ave/baseline) is exclusively due to my fitness coach - TONY! I joined this gym when the building was just being built. In due time, I signed up for private fitness classes with Tony, which was by far THE BEST decision that I made. Tony is an EXCEPTIONAL GURU, A PASSIONATE COACH, A PHENOMENAL TEACHER WHO DOESN'T GIVE UP ON HIS STUDENTS EVER! Due to his focused work on my strength building and muscle training, I feel stronger, healthier, and super excited to go to the gym now. Had it not been for Tony's persistent texts to encourage me to go to the gym and gain strength, I would have left exercise a year ago. He challenged me to get stronger with each lesson. He is one of the most POLITE, RESPECTFUL, and COLLABORATIVE fitness coaches out there. Ask for TONY if you want to work with someone who has your best interest in mind always. On the flip side, customer service at this branch needs to be far more polite, pleasant and respectful. But, that would be a detailed review for another time though...:)

Angelica at the front desk is consistently friendly, welcoming, and professional. She always greets me with such a positive attitude and helps create a comfortable atmosphere every time I enter or leave the gym. Her warm personality and genuine kindness make each visit a pleasant experience, and she truly adds so much to the overall feel of the place. Thank you for always making me feel welcomed and appreciated.

I just pulled up here at the US spoke with a very very helpful young lady named Liana spelled LILIANA last name BAROJAS she has been very, very helpful, very informing about things that I need to do with my refund this woman young lady is amazing She explained to me in details. She was so helpful. She took time out to make sure I was OK. Kept checking up on me. She’s a great leader. I really enjoyed just speaking with her so I just want to send this out and I just thought she should get a review on this. She’s great. She’s a great person. Thank you.

Pamela at EOS on 19th Ave & Baseline was amazing & so helpful. I was having trouble linking my account to the app for tap-in access & she stayed patient and helpful the entire time. She didn’t give up until everything was working perfectly. Great customer service!
