Huda Yousuf 2 months agoI don't usually write reviews, but after my experience with Sean Clinton, I had to say something. Let me start by giving credit where it's due: the other employees here are genuinely kind and did their jobs well. But Sean? He's the manager. And I am absolutely baffled that someone with this little people skills is in charge of anything involving human interaction. Sean has what I can only describe as angry short white man syndrome, and I don't say that lightly. The man was on an incredible power trip from the moment we interacted with him. I have never met someone who radiates that much unexplained hostility. He was huffing, puffing, and looked like he was about to blow the whole house down. His face was red and was literally shaking from anger because his “ego” cannot admit that he was clearly in the wrong, and it was almost funny. My friend and I stayed completely calm and polite the entire time, which seemed to make him even angrier. Watching a “grown” man have a full emotional meltdown over a normal customer interaction was genuinely pathetic and sad. I genuinely mean this, Sean Clinton does not deserve to be around people, let alone manage a team. If you're the type of manager who turns red and shakes because a customer speaks to you calmly, you are not fit to be in customer service. To Sean, if you ever read this: take a deep breath. Maybe a vacation. Or therapy. Something. It is not our fault that you are only three apples tall.
Mariam A 2 months agoIf I could give zero stars I would. Just signed up for this gym. Went for the “free class session” the “trainer” Williow rescheduled the time twice which I was happy to accommodate. I came there on time, she was on her phone the whole 3 min I was with her, she gave me a packet to fill out and left to text. Came back I told her I want to learn how use the machines at the gym that is my goal She said “no I DoNt DO tHat”, what exactly do you do then?
Sally Public 2 months agoThe facility is kept very clean at all times. My only pet peeve is the trash customer service of the front desk agents. When I ask questions they talk over me before listening fully what I am asking. The contract for putting a card on file when I first joined was very blurry, and I asked for another one. I was not obliged. The front desk agent was rude and said she can get a manager. I chose not to escalate and take it to headquarters which I did. But what upset me the most is her snickering comment after I declined to speak with the manager, " ya that's what I thought". Staff are unfriendly, and on their phones always. Another pet peeve on mine is they don't update the class schedule around the building. The exercise room has JANUARY'S classes on it. And the women's room has it as well as well as FEBRUARY class specials........ lazy lazy lazy. What is the manager doing at this gym? I love coming here , but come on do better. And why is the news always being played? That feels biased.
GARTH CARGIN 10 months agoGreat gym, equipment in excellent shape , friendly staff, busy pool. Wish they would not have the news channels on the TVs adds to stress . Surely sport would be more appropriate, really love the gym. But the news channels stress me out and they are positioned so they are unavoidable . The Olympics , tour de France , Wimbledon, etc is on this summer, last 3 weeks was the beautiful tour of Italy and all we saw was politics .I really wish they would survey the members, I'm yet to meet anyone who wants to watch news and not sport . The manager says it is the preferred choice, at least there is one treadmill that looks out the window
sam 5 months agoThis is a nice gym it’s been my preferred GB3 out of all the ones in Fresno for years now. However I do have a complaint and I’ve been relieved to read some of these reviews and see I’m not the only one who feels this way. The employees here have a really unfriendly demeanor especially the people at the front desk they give you the death stare when you walk in. I’ve tried to say hi and smile a few times and all they do is glare back at you like you shouldn’t be looking at them or talking to them. I would give this gym more stars but the customer service ruins it for me so I can only leave two. That’s one aspect the team here could really improve on.
