The Los Angeles Athletic Club provides all the facilities required for a business trip, vacation, or simply a leisurely time. The facility offers a diverse array of amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, basketball court, handball court, racquetball court, squash court, track, pool, pirate class, yoga class, and steam room with dry sauna and more. Additionally, if you require work-related activities, they offer a co-working space. This space is exceptionally quiet and is frequently open.tilized for work. It also boasts a bar, restaurant, and café shop. The facility also boasts a bar, restaurant, and café shop. They also offer a haircut, with a barbershop and a small spa facility. This hotel is not contemporary, it more closely resembles a traditional establishment from the past. The room was spacious, but it felt traditional. The television was modest and dated. It was difficult to connect a device and they relied on direct tv for cable. The bed was comfortable, but the shower pressure was quite weak. The customer service was exceptionally cordial and was extremely helpful. The payment process involved a daily fee of $40 per day, including the daily destination fee. However, this fee is included in the amenities package. Close to all the restaurant and felt safe.

An Exceptional Experience in the Heart of Downtown LA The Los Angeles Athletic Club is truly one of the finest experiences we’ve had — both as a hotel stay and a clubhouse. From the moment you walk in, the sophisticated and tasteful interior design sets the tone for everything that follows. The staff are remarkably professional and warm, making you feel genuinely welcomed throughout your stay. The rooms are high quality with thoughtful attention to every detail — crisp linens, fresh flowers — small touches that speak volumes about how much the team cares about the guest experience. The facilities are absolutely world-class: a stunning indoor swimming pool, basketball court, fully equipped gym, yoga studio, and Pilates studio. It’s rare to find this level of variety and quality under one roof. What truly elevates the experience, though, is the dining. The breakfast room, bar, and dinner lounge all deliver food that is delicious, healthy, and beautifully executed. Every visit felt like a special occasion. Perfectly situated in Downtown Los Angeles with easy access to the Convention Center and the stadium, this is an ideal destination whether you’re visiting for business or leisure. After trying high-end coworking and fitness centers at NeueHouse, Soho House, Equinox, I can honestly say the Los Angeles Athletic Club gives me the best of both worlds. The facilities are excellent, but more than that, the staff’s hospitality and the friendly community blew me away. I’m honestly thrilled to have found a space that balances both work and wellness so perfectly.

One of the best hotel experineces in a long time. The staff was the best and Brandon(?) who was the front end director took care of an issues created by Expedia. I will forever be grateful to him. What a gem they have there.

The following is for the Hotel only: Beautiful building right in the heart of downtown (the terrace has wonderful views) but thats about it. I felt that the rooms were dated and there were odd quirks about the hotel like not being able to get a cup of coffee at around 5pm (when I asked a waiter at their pub, he physically sighed and asked someone and then said no). My bathroom also didn't feel clean and I just feel like there are better options for this pricepoint. Like the Perla, which is right across the street. It's also comparable (or even more expensive) than the Intercontinental, which has beautiful rooms and panoramic views.
