I have been going to this gym for a few yrs now. They have plenty of equipment and tend to fix them fairly quickly if they are down. However…I am giving them only a 2 star review as their restrooms are ALWAYS dirty. And I mean ALWAYS!! When I approached the staff of 5 ppl standing around talking to let them know that their restrooms need attention, one of the staff tried to make excuses for the restrooms being completely filthy saying they “have thousands of people going in and out.”Every lady who walked in that morning all agreed how filthy it was. Every toilet stall had tissue surrounding the toilets, sanitary trash was overflowing, hair was in piles in front the showers, sinks were clogged with dirty water, floor drains were leaking. I told the staff that they cannot make excuses for having filthy restrooms because other gyms restrooms are clean and make it happen and they need to do better. Not asking for a deep clean every time but a good sweep, emptying of trash bins and wipe downs are appropriate. 24 hour downtown you all need to do better with your cleanliness. Gyms are already a dirty place that spread germs and keeping your most intimate places filthy is concerning. You especially need to do better due to your location. The Sacramento Kings play right next door. What a way to represent your city. Been a member for long time and usually 24 Hour Fitness did the job. I just started visiting the downtown Sacramento gym and I am shocked by the conditions there. People are blasting music on portable speakers, making it very difficult to focus. When I asked the "manager" to intervene he became hostile and told me that the club was public so they don't have any policy about members blasting their own music. Public, really. So I asked, if it is public then I can film and record inside the gym. He said no they have a policy against that. See the level of incompetence. No employess are ever on the floor. The facility is gross, unclean and the equipment is old and broken down. I often see people with no shirts and not others not wearing shoes. This place is low class and unsafe. Worst gym I have ever seen. Unless you just got out of prison, you should find another club. If you did just get out, you are going to love this dump.

This is a super sport 24 hour fitness. The crown jewel level location for the chain in this region. It is very nice. For 95% of the things that make a gym good, they got it. What I cannot forgive is that the sauna smells like someone had a fecal accident directly in the heat rocks, and someone just took a dry paper towel to clean it. Yes, that bad. It has smelled like this for 4 months at least. When I need a good sauna session, i drive far a good distance to another location. 24 hour used to be the industry standard. They are below the $9.99 a month with no contract clubs now in their cleanliness level.

I’ve been going to 24 Hour Fitness for a while now and overall it’s a solid gym. It has everything I need to get a good workout in without overcomplicating things. There’s a good mix of machines, free weights, and cardio equipment, so I never feel limited in what I can train that day. Sucheta was the one who got me set up with my membership, she made the process go super fast. The staff is chill and helpful when you need them, and the gym is usually clean, especially the weight area and locker rooms. What I like most is the convenience — the hours, locations, and overall setup make it easy to stay consistent. It’s not flashy, but it gets the job done, and that’s really what matters to me.

Rahim explained everything step by step, showed me how to use the equipment safely, and encouraged me throughout the workout.
