Went there 1 time. Its nice and spacious with plenty exercise amenities and everything is quite new..BUT.. things get sketchy once you enter the shower rooms. There is absolutely no privacy (no curtains, no individual stalls..zillch)..and the showers are very close to each other. Creating a very cautionary environment.. which is too risky (especially if you want to take your child to the pool (pre shower first) or work out and then shower after.. Everything else is just fine.. staff was polite and helpful as well

There is such a sense of community at the Y and I've made many new friends. I really appreciate the inclusivity of the Y. I love the SGT classes offered at the Capital Y - especially Pilates with Props and Dry Tri. They've been instrumental in reaching my fitness goals. I also enjoy Pilates Reformer with Tia. And last but not least, I truly appreciate how responsive the administration at the Capital Y is to member suggestions and feedback.

Staff are friendly young people. Facilities are, for the most part, clean and tidy. Plenty of machines, never seems too crowded even at peak times. Machines vary from one location to the next, Capitol location has beautiful weight machines, nice locker room, steam room, sauna, whirlpool. Can't beat it for the price.

Absolutely in love with this place! So much more than a gym. It's not so crowded that I have to wait to use the weights or machines. Plenty of floor space all throughout the facility for stretching or lifting weights in the mirror. Im rather new to working out but the staff and patrons here make me feel so comfortable, not in the least bit intimidated. If you're looking for a comfortable place with plenty of extra activities then this is the place for you!

Overall, Great gym. But please figure out a way to accommodate parking. I just drove around for 15 minutes and could not find a parking spot on surrounding streets and now have to go to W st.
