I’m convinced this is the best gym in San Diego. Great selection of equipment, doesn’t get over crowded, convenient location, and has some of the best views. It’s amazing to come here after work to workout while staring out at the city, it’s like a rooftop sanctuary. I’ve toured nearly every gym in the downtown area and Broadway Athletic Club is still #1 in my list. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

In SD, there are a couple of rooftop clubs that have a great view, but Broadway Athletic take in the best views. Situated at the top of the irvine building. You'll have many flexible pricing options, and in retrospect, very good deal for the facilities! Over the years I've met many of our great staffers at BASC, and they make checkin and maintenance of the facilities their priority. Working with the staff is nothing but smooth. On to their equipment, I can say they have made improvements over time. You have the basics inside, and basics on the outside. There is classes for yoga, swim, and training. I would like to see newer equipment for most of the equipment, there are definitely equipment for specific muscle targeting like pelvis, traps, glutes, etc that would benefit the gym. The age of the equipment is decent like 2010's technology, hopefully some investments in updating in the pipeline! Thank you team BASC! Will be coming back again

I love this gym. It might not be the biggest but it’s definitely the best. The staff are welcoming, the locker rooms are clean and well appointed and it’s never too crowded. With a membership they also include parking which is amazing. Thank you to Tim for getting me enrolled and being so welcoming.

My husband and I have been members for a few years and love this gym! The staff is friendly, the equipment is great, and it’s never too busy. It feels like you’re going to a spa gym when you’re there! We also love the rooftop pool. Would definitely recommend Broadway Athletic!

Best gym in San Diego hands down! Excellent array of fitness equipment. The facility is very clean and employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Love all the services provided, but what I love more is the ability to workout outside with an amazing view! The rooftop has a great pool & great workout space - but those views and working out in fresh air is a big part of why i signed on. I utilized one session with a personal trainer and he was excellent. If you are looking for a gym, this one is seriously worth considering.
