I absolutely love this gym! It is totally worth every dollar. I come here every week to see my trainer Emma for her Full Body Workout class on Thursdays. I’ve been seeing her for a 1 1/2 years and I have never felt stronger. Emma is a great trainer and is knowledgeable about the human body!! She has provided me with an online workout on the FIT app as well which I enjoyed. If you want to see a difference in your body appearance and strength she is your go-to trainer.

I used this gym as part of my stay at the Carte Hotel in San Diego (shared space, free for hotel guests). For a hotel gym, it’s a solid 5 stars! As a standalone gym, I’d give it a strong 4.5. It’s not 24/7, unlike some hotel gyms, but the hours are reasonable and align with most commercial gyms. The equipment selection is impressive, including equipment catered to to serious athletes with options like Jacobs Ladders, manual treadmills, various bikes, and dedicated squat and deadlift platforms. Some equipment shows slight wear but remains in good condition overall. The locker rooms feature decent saunas and steam rooms, with convenient built-in combination locks—no need to bring your own and towel service is included. Gym guests also get access to the hotels pool and spa and there are indoor and outdoor workout areas. The gym is clean, and the front desk staff are friendly and welcoming.

Fit Athletic Little Italy is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve been to. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and the energy is always great. Huge shoutout to Eli, the Service Manager — he’s incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cares about the member experience. From the moment you walk in, you feel taken care of. If you’re looking for a gym with top-tier service and community, this is it. BEST. GYM.EVER

FIT in Little Italy is an amazing gym with a great layout, great equipment, and great atmosphere! I came in just using a day pass, but the experience completely exceeded my expectations. The staff was super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. Huge shoutout to Sammy, she’s seriously the best!!! Her energy, knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm made the visit unforgettable, and she 100% convinced me to sign up for a full-time membership. If you’re on the fence or just visiting, one workout here will change your mind.

I have been a Fit member for about 3-4 years. Really love all that the gym and community has to offer. I have had my stints going to all locations and have to say Little Italy has been my consistent favorite. Cleanliness, staff, and equipment availability are top notch - even during peak rush hours. Love seeing Sammy there always greeting guests by name making sure we feel welcomed and enjoy our workout. Highly recommend to all of those looking to expand past what commercial gyms have to offer!
