I highly recommend this gym for any new goers! It’s well-kept and the people are very welcoming. As someone who was new to the gym, I had always struggled with what to do so I was very grateful for Paul as my personal trainer. He worked with me on my goal in becoming comfortable with the gym and devised plans that also worked with my hectic work schedule. It helped made the gym less daunting and I definitely plan on continuing my workouts here!

I love this gym. I spent the summer in San Francisco for a summer job and joined on the flexible month-to-month plan. The gym is brand new, has excellent and well-maintained equipment, and is never too crowded. The clientele are all good and respectful people. All the gym staff, especially the owner, Daniel, are really great and make an effort to greet you by name. The gym has solid hours too (closing at 11pm on most days) which is great if you work out late at night like I often do. Overall would highly recommend this gym if you live nearby!

I love this gym. It’s always clean, and the machines and equipment are all new and easy to use. I have been going for months because Daniel, Matt, and Paul are extremely kind and make you feel so welcome there. I love that there are only a few people at a time whenever I go in, so I don’t have to wait to use the machines that I want to. Conveniently, there’s also 2 showers, 2 bathrooms, a water bottle refill station, and free lockers available for use. It’s a great humble gym that has all of the essentials.

Local's Fitness is a gem! Shout out to Daniel, Paul, and Matt for their friendly professionalism. With top-of-the-line equipment and unbeatable cleanliness, it's the perfect workout environment. I signed up for personal training with Coach Paul, whose tailored approach and attention to detail have rehabilitated old injuries and strengthened unstable muscles. I'm on my way to hitting PRs I never thought possible! More noteworthy features: showers, lockers with keys, filtered water dispenser, turf room, turf hallway for sleds, physio room, TRX, parking spots, and the gym is easily accessible though the the 38/38R bus line. Plus, they have the best playlist to get you amped up. Honestly, once you experience the excellence here, you'll never want to work out anywhere else!

10/10, best gym in SF. GYM EXPERIENCE: The gym is always clean, never too busy, and there’s pretty much always space to do whatever workout you want. The staff are super friendly and actually know you by name, and the members are respectful. I always see members and staff chatting at the front desk which shows how welcoming and friendly everyone is. PERSONAL TRAINING: I started coming here after dealing with knee pain for over a year, and training with Paul has been a game changer. He’s super knowledgeable, always checks in, and makes sure everything feels safe and comfortable. Biggest take away was learning how to perform certain exercises that wouldn't impact my knee pain but still allow me to do lower body exercises.
