All of these elliptic machines been broken for like a year and they don’t fix them… seen people get mad because they can’t use them… and i can’t find a dumbell when i go look for one… things have clearly been changing from bad to worse in the last months.. really reconsidering changing location, it’s like they don’t even care PS… been a month and a half after this review and still no dumbbells under 30 lbs and elliptic machines still broken… what are y’all doing with the money you guys get..???

I’ve been a Crunch member for over a year and recently tried the Hillsborough location. While it’s conveniently located and has ample parking, I was disappointed with the overall gym culture. Very few of the weights under 30 lbs were re-racked. I had to search throughout the gym to find what I needed because dumbbells were left in random places. The same issue applied to the machines: when I went to use the leg press, none of the plates had been re-racked, and some machines still had three 45 lb plates on each side. I was also surprised to see trainers taking clients' weights and not returning them afterward. That sets the tone for the entire space. Unfortunately, the lack of basic gym etiquette made the experience stressful rather than productive. Unless there is greater accountability, I won’t be returning to or recommending this location.

This happened on March 25, 2026. I came to this gym to check it out. I asked if I could work out with my friend, who had recommended the place to me. At the front desk, they told me I had to provide my personal information, which seemed fine to me. They sat me down at a table and asked for the card I was supposed to use for payment. They also asked me to open my banking app and give them my account number and routing number. I asked once again if it would be possible for me to see the gym before signing the contract, and the person assisting me told me not to worry, that I was going to like it. It was a complete lack of respect. They do not know how to treat a new customer, and they do not know how to sell their service. They did not even bother to give me a tour, show me how everything works, or explain everything they offer. They just kept telling me not to worry, that I was going to like it. I do not recommend this gym. The service is terrible. From the little I was able to see, I did not notice anything good, and it leaves a lot to be desired.

I’ve had an amazing experience at Crunch Fitness and can confidently say it’s one of the best gyms I’ve been a member of. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who genuinely care about the members and the overall atmosphere of the gym. Everyone—from the front desk team to the trainers—is approachable, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or offer support. One of the biggest highlights for me is how clean and well-maintained the facility is. The equipment is consistently wiped down, the locker rooms are spotless, and there’s a clear effort to keep everything organized and sanitary. It really makes a difference when you can focus on your workout in a clean, comfortable environment. The gym itself has a great vibe—motivating without being intimidating. Whether you’re a beginner or someone who’s been working out for years, Crunch Fitness makes you feel welcome. There’s a wide variety of equipment and classes, so it never feels boring or repetitive. The layout is spacious, which helps even during busy hours. Overall, Crunch Fitness does an excellent job creating a positive, energetic, and inclusive environment. The friendly staff, clean facility, and great atmosphere make it a place I actually look forward to coming to. I highly recommend Crunch Fitness to anyone looking for a gym that truly cares about its members and delivers a great experience every time.

Beware of this Crunch gym; they won't let you close your account until you pay next month. The most unbelievable thing is when you initially sign up, they tell you that you can cancel anytime, and there are no commitments or contracts, but they won't close your account even if you ask them to. This is a very easy way to rip people off. They're forcing me to stay and pay even if I don't want to. Run from this place as soon as you can. I went today, May 29, 2026, to cancel, and they wouldn't let me. I'm moving to a state where there isn't a Crunch, but they did not care, and the manager refused to close my membership.
