This club begged for me to make them my home club, despite the reluctance I had for being an out of town member. The manager, Kyle, was completely avoidant, passive aggressive and decided to cancel my membership instead of having the integrity to contact me and get down to the bottom of what I was trying to figure out. I ended up having to escalate my situation to corporate and to the regional and district managers for Kyle's lack of professionalism as a manager and for his failure to provide a prompt and reasonable solution to the fact that I had doctor's notes to support that I had a TIA stroke. Kyle did seem to care nor want to provide any resolution or inquiry into the matter and when I called to speak with him over the course of one whole month, he finally, dismissively, cancelled my membership without my request or consent. It was a negative experience at this club because the women's toilets were always unclean and the showers had hair balls and dirt from the same days, multiple days in a row. After what seemed like a week, I reported a used, plastic douche that had been sitting in the shower. Even after my report, it remained there for a few extra days. I used to wonder exactly who the maintenance manager was because there was no proper upkeep being done, but now I understand that it's because Kyle likes to cut corners and get paid for doing the bare minimum. He asked to be my home club but did not treat me with the hospitality that I deserve, having been a member of the Planet Fitness family for at least 3 years. Additionally, every time I called to speak to a manager, when I asked to leave my number and a message, I was told by multiple employees that he would not call back because he's too busy. I am not sure what he is so busy doing when the bathrooms are not being monitored and club members need to communicate health issues, but that is the New Leaf way, I suppose. Despite Kyle's oversight and my recommendation that you're better off not dealing with New Leaf, the club location is prime and they have nice amenities here.

Planet Fitness has some great perks—it's always open, so you can work out whenever it suits you, and the place is kept clean with friendly staff who make the atmosphere welcoming. However, one downside is their "no cash" policy for black card membership. It feels like if overcharging wasn’t part of their business model, they might allow cash payments as an option. It would be nice if there were more flexible payment options, but overall, it's still a decent gym for its convenience and environment.

The only place I've ever had an outstanding bill that I just can't pay cause the manager is never there when I go in to pay it. Awful, terrible, customer service. Led by a terrible manager

Good place to work out you can get in and out and get your day going I like the new equipment it's the smoothest action on a exercise machine that I worked out with.

A good fitness center, nice fans, pretty well kept up with maintenance... the janitorial could use a bit of work... tends to be out of soap and toilet paper in the restrooms frequently
