This gym has a friendly and welcoming staff, which made for a positive first impression. I also appreciated the variety of equipment, including some machines and setups I don’t typically see at other locations, like the free weights available for bench press and squats. That said, having visited several locations across the country, this one didn’t stand out for cleanliness. Both the locker room and gym floor looked a bit dated, and there was noticeable debris and hair throughout, which took away from the overall experience. While the staff and equipment selection are definite positives, the upkeep and cleanliness leave room for improvement.

We go to this gym mainly because it’s close to our place, and overall it’s fine. This rating is specifically for the front desk staff. Front desk woman who usually wears a cap always seems disinterested- no smile, no greeting, nothing since the day we joined. Once I asked for help with a locker (it was our first day) and was made to feel like it was my fault. While most of the staff are nice, her and a bearded male staff member come across as unwelcoming. A gym should feel friendly and inviting. There’s definitely a need for better training in basic customer service- being welcoming goes a long way in retaining customers.

First time at this location because I had business in the area. The parking lot was terrible, took forever, finally got a spot inside a tree. There are no lockers at the front, only in the bathrooms. Very crowded at 630pm. Other than that, pretty standard Planet Fitness. Glad this is not my home location.

Great Gym, good location, friendly staff, a good selection of new equipment. The only thing I wish they would Upgrade would be the Massage chairs.

One of the Best Planet Fitness Locations in Raleigh! The Planet Fitness on Six Forks Rd is hands down one of my favorites in the Raleigh area. The gym is always clean, well-maintained, and has a nice, organized layout that makes working out comfortable and stress-free. The staff is super friendly—they always greet you with a smile when you walk in, which creates a welcoming vibe. It’s also located in a great area, so I always feel safe coming here, even during late hours. Another big plus is that this location is open 24 hours, which is super convenient for any schedule. If you’re in the Raleigh area and looking for a reliable, clean gym with good energy, I highly recommend this Planet Fitness location!
