This is an excellent gym choice for serious lifters in downtown Columbus. Dumbbells go up to 145lbs with multiple copies in between. Lots of unique and helpful machines, as well as four stories of equipment. Parking is super helpful too, as the lot next door is validated and has spots available most mornings. Highly recommend!

The gym is absolutely incredible. As proof, I’ve lost over 200 pounds working out here in the past year alone. The staff and trainers are truly top-notch, and the price is something you just can’t beat in Columbus. Like a lot of people, I eventually got tired of working out at Planet Fitness and wanted to take the next step in my fitness journey. I was intimidated at first, but as soon as I walked in, that completely changed. I was greeted at the door, given a tour, and started my workout. Being over 400 pounds at the time, I was worried about what people might say, but to my surprise, I was met only with support and encouragement, along with helpful tips whenever I needed them. Eventually, I started working with one of their trainers, Shawn, and that sped my progress up to an entirely new level. Now here I am, 200 pounds lighter. If you’re looking for a place with the most versatile equipment, they literally have everything you could ever need—and they’re always expanding. The place is like a maze in the best way. You’ll find friendly, helpful staff and wonderful gym-goers who are all eager to help you succeed. Look no further and start training like a pro. Also, if you’re coming from out of town and need a day pass, there isn’t a better gym in Columbus. And if you see me working out—I’m there five days a week—feel free to say hi. I had a great experience at The Pros in Columbus, Ohio. One of the biggest things I appreciated was the level of privacy—it made it easy to focus on my workout without feeling crowded or rushed. The equipment selection was excellent, with a wide variety of options that catered to different types of training. Everything felt abundant and well-maintained, so I never had to wait long or compromise my routine. Overall, it’s a solid gym if you’re looking for a place that combines privacy, quality equipment, and plenty of choices to keep your workouts effective and enjoyable. Highly recommend checking it out.

I’ve been coming to The Pros Gym for the past few days while my hotel’s fitness center is being remodeled, and I have to say—it’s been a great experience. The hotel partnered with them for guests, and honestly, it’s a huge upgrade. Every time I’ve gone (early mornings), there’s been no waiting for machines, which is a big win. Everything is clean, well-maintained, and organized. The overall vibe is really cool—people here seem genuinely focused on their fitness goals, which makes it a motivating environment to be in. It’s not overly crowded or chaotic, just a solid space to get a great workout in. Even though I’m only here temporarily, if I lived in the area, this would absolutely be my go-to gym.

Pro's was sweet during the Arnold. The DJ had the place bumping. I pretty much just made it "out of order upper body" day. It was busy, but everyone was cool. One of the highlights of the trip.
