My overall experience is good at this gym, but there are some caveats. The good is that the gym is very modern, has a pool, nice staff, and every equipment you would expect. On top of that, they have nice extras like a theater room, basketball court, turf area. However, it definitely lacks some essentials you would expect at this price point. Parking is the biggest one. The designated indoor garage is not connected to the building, and it's a narrow one-lane layered garage where if you try to enter while someone is exiting, you have to reverse (sometimes out of the entire garage, multiple times) to let them out first. This can get annoying on busy days. The second thing is the hours. They close at 9 on weekdays and 6 on weekends. As someone used to working out late in the evening, there's definitely a few times I wanted to go but couldn't because they closed.

I’ve been going to East Bank Athletic Club for almost a year and a half now, and it’s been an amazing experience! The staff is always friendly and welcoming — the front desk team greets you with positive energy every time you walk in. Jeff does an incredible job keeping the gym updated and adapting to members’ needs. There are so many great amenities — a pool, hot tub, women’s room for exercise, free group classes like yoga and Pilates, plus plenty of cardio and weightlifting options. It’s truly a gym that has something for everyone. If you’re thinking about joining, definitely take a tour today! I tried out East Bank Athletic & Social and I’m not gonna lie I LOVED IT. It’s not just a gym, it’s a whole experience. I did my workout, then went to the pool, hot tub, and sauna… I ended up being there way longer than I planned 😭 Everything was clean, there’s a lot of equipment, and it just feels like a nice place to spend time. Definitely a good option if you want a mix of workout and relaxation. Before it was East Bank Athletic it was Golds Gym so please don't let them reviews turn you around. I did the free day pass, I'm already a member at a gym and can't afford to add another gym membership to my budget. I know they have a membership for student and first responders I wonder if that's the same for teachers.

Great gym! I love the easy parking. I think the price is worth all the amenities and modern equipment. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the availability. I wished they stayed open till about 10 during the week and about 7 or 8 on the weekends. It would be nice for the night owls but other than that, I have no complaints. I would do 4.5 stars 🙂

Hi! Since you asked for a review, I wanted to share honest feedback. Overall, I really like the gym it’s clean, the equipment is great, and the staff has been polite and helpful in my experience. I also chose this location because I have the Social Buddy membership, which allows me to bring a guest. That said, my guest has mentioned feeling stared at in a way that made them feel like he didn’t belong. I personally haven’t had negative interactions, but I think it’s important to share because no member or guest should feel uncomfortable or out of place especially when everyone must scan in to enter and is clearly authorized to be there. One other suggestion: I’d love to see a dedicated stretching area added. Many gyms have a specific space for stretching/mobility, and it would be a great improvement here.
