This gym is the epitome of late stage capitalism. The gym charges around $70 a month, and employees who work here get paid $10-12 an hour. Not only does this represent a larger issue in the United States, but I would like to see a full budget breakdown of this gym's financial statement because they should pay their employees a much better wage and stop feeding corporatism. The gym itself is quality, the equipment is decent but it is important to analyze the mechanics behind such an entity.

Completely not worth the price for a gym that’s no better than the YMCA, they offer corporate discounts that discount nothing, the price is the exact same they just give you a 30 dollar coupon off the sign up price. I have no idea how a gym can survive when they expect people to pay 75+ every month when the local gyms which offer the exact same experience is less than half that price.

I was at the downtown location yesterday, grinding an intense stair climbing session with my music on full blast, sweating my balls off, and noticed some of the trainers laughing as the were passing by. I wasn’t positive what they were goofing about but we were making eye contact as they were passing by and it felt like they were laughing at me. I’m glad this is an inclusive feeling space, where the trainers set the example that’s it’s completely ok to crack jokes and laugh about/at one another. Tons of goofy looking folks here to crack jokes about!

Good gym not great… I pay 89 dollars which is the same price as the Chicago Sports Fitness Club which the two aren’t even comparable. Mind you that’s with my military discount. The gym just doesn’t offer enough to justify prices. I think because it’s a “club” they are able to charge these prices but honestly it’s not worth it. I just have no other options in terms of downtown or surrounding areas. Lack of equipment, lack of space, and the price just doesn’t make sense. It’s like a YMCA for adults

Especially in the early mornings, I love this location. Friendly staff, very clean and with the change in how you pay for parking, I am super happy with making Downtown my home gym.
