Ryard Paig 4 months agoI complete all of my triathlon training at this gym, where everything I need is conveniently available in one facility—including swimming, cycling, and running programs. I highly recommend checking it out so you can experience it for yourself. Cheers, mate.
Gigi G 3 weeks ago1. Don't train with Cesar. 2. Awful management: both their District VP and local branch manager ghosted me when I raised a serious complaint about their personal trainer Cesar. I had to follow up 7x just to get credited back -- not even reimbursed -- for my awful session. 3. They charge $130-140 per hour regardless of trainer experience level. 4. Money hungry -- They took away the one basketball court they had. They also converted one of the racketball courts into a pilates room. You now have to pay extra to use those spaces. ----- In a 1-hour training session with Cesar, he: -GAVE INCORRECT CUES THAT LEAD TO INJURY: He told me to completely lower the chair on the chest press machine, even after I asked, "Aren't your hands supposed to be at chest height?" Days later, my shoulders were still in pain and it hurt to put on a jacket. The entire reason I hired a personal trainer was to prevent injuries... -DIDN'T GET CONSENT: Rather than verbally correct my form during shoulder sweeps, he stepped behind me without warning, wrapped his arms around my body, and physically pushed me into position. He didn't even ask for consent, which is a basic industry standard. -MADE SEXUAL REFERENCES. The word "G-string" has no place coming out of a personal trainer's mouth during a session. -WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION: I told him to get off his phone at one point. Another time when I asked for feedback on my form, his response was "you're doing it perfectly. You shouldn't want me to give you feedback, because that means you're doing it right." -SENT A GENERIC WORKOUT PLAN: Cesar texted me a workout plan that had watermarks on it that was clearly pulled from the internet. -NO "PERSONAL" TRAINING: He didn't do any sort of intake or benchmarking, which is standard for first sessions. He trained me as if I were a male body builder -- we only did supersets (aka back-to-back exercises with no rest in between sets). -UNPROFESSIONAL AND IMMATURE: Cesar called me names ("niña" and "my dear") even after I directly asked him to call me by my name. It's as if he goes between trying to flirt with me and trying to act superior. Both are disrespectful and highly inappropriate. ^ I shared even more than this in my email to both managers. Over a month after the session, I put them in a group chat asking for an update on the supposed "investigation" their HR launched. One didn't respond at all and the other one responded once and then ghosted me. I've been more than patient with their team. p.s. The ONLY woman trainer they have on staff is deeply knowledgeable, professional, and I feel safe working with her. ----- I hope my review saves at least one other person from dealing with Cesar.
Deblina Mondal 7 months agoI workout across multiple city sports clubs but have had the best customer service experience here. The people at front desk are always warm and the club is clean and well maintained. I have also brought guests here and have the most hassle free experience as compared to other centers.
Steve Dill 3 weeks agoI'm switched here from 20 years at 24hour fitness. What a difference! It's clean, well run, less crowded, and they maintain the equipment. No question, I'm much happier here. Every time. So glad I switched.
Mohammad Bakhshalipour 9 months agoI’ve been going to this gym for most of the year, and overall, I like it. The weightlifting equipment is excellent, both in variety and quantity, and even the more popular machines rarely have a wait. The treadmills are good and there are plenty of them. There are other cardio machines available, though I don’t personally use them. The pool is decent, with comfortable water temperature and generally clean conditions. The downside is the spa, which is closed far too often. It seems like there’s always something wrong with it, making it unreliable. If the spa is important to you, this might not be the best choice.
