There is definitely room for improvement… This was the first gym I signed up for in 2023 back when I was 300lb and wanted to improve my lifestyle. Because of this gym I was able to get down to 195lb and started to feel healthy again! The staff were great, people were friendly and it was a safe place to come workout. (2023-24) Due to work and personal reasons I started to visit the gym after business hours and stopped seeing the staff like before. Randomly, my monthly membership stopped being charged but I couldn’t get it corrected during working hours so I stopped visiting the gym until I could find time to resolve this. Long story short, I stopped by the location during operating hours and they said I needed to pay $4XX.xx to make up the missing charges. I explained I would have to cancel my membership as this wasn’t financially feasible and I didn’t use the gym since the card stopped being charged. Employee at the time (wish I got his name) was understanding but saw I was there from early days and offered to help in any way he could. Told me he will look into this and follow up with the number on file. From that point on there were no additional communication and/or charges so the resolution I was looking for had been agreed to. Fast forward to May 23, 2026, (with a new name now named Iron House) had charged me $817.64 This came out of the blue and so long after my last interaction where I was assured my problem had been dealt with. I of course called it in right away and Sebastian (made sure to write down the name this time) assured me that he spoke to the owner Chris and he would have this resolved right away! It is now June 3rd, and Richard of Iron House has told me to go to court in order to get the other half of the refund since he won’t honor the refund like Chris has said he would. It’s $400, I am confident this business can make it right I will be sure to update if that status changes

Prior to coming here, I was a member of a large commercial gym in Jax. The commercial gym was nice but I was looking for a different vibe, better/more machines, people actually working out and not holding the machines. I came and got way more than I anticipated. This is more than a gym, it’s a community. The people are nice, the owner is very welcoming and supports local small business owners, there’s events every so often that may align with your goals. I love it so much.

17 years I’ve belonged to gyms, ironhouse is top tier. First off, You know you’re in the right place when the owner walks the walk, Chris is a world class lifter, incredibly knowledgeable, and happy to share but you’d never know it, he’s salt of the earth, just happy to have you enjoying what he enjoys. you immediately feel like a friend . You can tell the equipment was hand picked for being the best of its type. The layout is great, badass lighting, decor, music all of it. Also not that any man in a gym like this should care about this but IMMACULATE BATHROOMS and clean all around lol no issue dropping down on the floor if you wanna do some abs or push ups.

Dropped in for a workout while I was on vacation. Was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Awesome gym with a great atmosphere and top of the line equipment. Womens room is super cute and clean!

Great gym. I go in the early am. People have been very friendly here who I have met since I have been here for the past couple of months. Everyone is willing to help and share knowledge. I love all the speciality equipment you cant find at the big box gyms. Come check it out.
