⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ UFC GYM Midtown — The Best-Kept Secret in Miami I’ve been a member for over a year now, and I can honestly say UFC GYM Midtown is hands down the best gym in Miami — and the price backs that up. Location is unbeatable. Right on NE 1st Ave in the heart of Midtown, super convenient to get to, and parking is completely free — no hassle at all. That alone sets it apart from most gyms in this city. They are one of the only gyms open 24 hours in Miami, and that’s actually the main reason I became a member. My schedule is unpredictable, and knowing the gym is there whenever I need it is a game changer. They recently made some changes, and the new staff is outstanding. The front desk girl is genuinely a dream — incredibly nice, customer-service focused, and welcoming to everyone who walks in. That kind of energy matters more than people realize. Adrian is also phenomenal. The whole team clearly takes pride in what they do. And the facility? Spotless. Every single time I walk in, it looks immaculate. The equipment is well-maintained, the space is clean, and the overall vibe is motivating without being intimidating. If you’re visiting Miami for a week or more, or even if you’re a local looking for a gym that actually delivers on quality and value — this is the place. I’d check if they have any short-term or visitor specials, but even their standard memberships are incredibly competitive for what you get. Highly recommend. UFC GYM Midtown is not just a gym — it’s a community.

I hate to leave a critical review because the staff here are excellent—courteous, professional, and truly kind people. They’ve always been welcoming, and that’s something I appreciate. That said, I come to the gym to train, and it’s become increasingly frustrating to deal with ongoing maintenance issues. Several pieces of equipment have been out of order for weeks without repair. The padding on some machines is worn down to the point where it’s being taped together, which doesn’t reflect well on the facility. Of the two cable stations, it’s common for at least one—sometimes both—to be out of service at the same time. Additionally, free weights are often left scattered around the gym, and there doesn’t seem to be consistent enforcement of re-racking policies. This creates an unorganized training environment. I’ve been a member on and off since this location opened during the pandemic, and while I understand the membership is competitively priced (around $45/month), consistent maintenance and basic upkeep are reasonable expectations. It’s disappointing to see the overall condition decline. I truly hope management addresses these concerns, as the staff and the community here deserve a facility that matches their professionalism.

This gym is a complete disaster. For once if you have a problem with your membership forget that they are going to try to help you efficiently, you need to hunt the managers down to get it fix, they find ANY way to continue to charge you. I’ve froze my account and I was still getting charged and none one has contacted me to help me after 6 days trying to talk to a manager to fix it. On the other side, if a machine gets broken it takes 1-6 business months to fix it. There are machines that I have seen broken for almost a year now. I understand the affordability of the gym compare to the other ones around the area but there should be a standard that isn’t being met here. If you can find another gym, do yourself a favor.

Buyer beware: UFC Gym engages in predatory tactics to squeeze you for the most money possible. When you go cancel your membership, they'll tell you that you have to give them 21 days notice, and if you didn't, you must pay for another month. That is not advertised upfront. There's absolutely no reason why a gym needs 3 weeks of notice to cancel a membership. This is absurd and exists to steal one month from a majority of people who won't cancel with a 21 day window. Second, we were charged a mystery late fee, even though the payment was on auto pay. Nobody could explain why, and they refused to refund it. Cool. Third, if you do choose to go here, be aware that the personal trainers will pressure you as hard as they possibly can to get you to sign up for personal training. They'll approach you constantly, text you, call you nonstop. While this gym is a decent value for your money, I simply cannot recommend to anyone to do business with a company that is engaged in predatory tactics to shake their customers down for money. It's unethical, and shameful.

Maylan (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) is an incredibly hospitable and welcoming front desk host. Every time I come into the gym, she greets every member and guest with genuine warmth and a bright smile. Her energy instantly sets a positive tone for the day. She consistently goes above and beyond to assist—whether it’s answering questions, helping with check-ins, or just making sure everyone feels comfortable and taken care of. Compared to hosts I’ve encountered at other gyms, the customer service at this location truly stands out because of her professionalism and personality. Even as a guest, I genuinely appreciate seeing her every morning. Employees like her make a huge difference in the overall experience, and UFC Gym is lucky to have someone so dedicated and pleasant at the front desk. Highly recommended!
