I frequently travel to New Orleans—specifically the Garden District—and I’m always on the lookout for a solid gym to use while I’m here. What initially caught my eye was the 7-day pass for $70, which is an outstanding price compared to most short-term gym options. I stopped in to check the place out, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They let me walk around and explore the gym on my own, which I really appreciated. The following morning, I signed up for the 7-day pass. The gym is split into two levels. The downstairs has all the free weights, squat racks, Smith machines, and a wide variety of strength and workout machines. Upstairs is dedicated to cardio, with plenty of treadmills, StairMasters, and other equipment. There’s also a turf area for functional training and open workouts, plus they offer group fitness classes. The locker rooms are compact but very clean, with lockers, showers, and bathrooms—everything you need without feeling cramped. If I lived here, I’d absolutely be a member. And if you’re staying near Magazine Street and looking for a great place to work out, I highly recommend checking out Franco’s Athletic Club.

This gym is a solid choice for anyone serious about improving their fitness. The facility is well-maintained with clean, modern equipment covering all major workout needs. I like the spacious layout, which allows you to train without feeling overcrowded most of the time. The trainers are professional, supportive, and always ready to assist with proper technique or workout planning when asked. The overall environment is disciplined yet friendly, helping members stay motivated. Music and energy inside the gym also create a good workout vibe. It can get busy during peak hours, but management keeps things running smoothly.

Franco’s is my go-to gym in New Orleans when I need to mix up my workout routine. I love the bootcamp classes and the Rise and Grind class with Kim! She always knows exactly how to push you and make the workout challenging but uplifting and fun. It is the absolute best way to start your day!

I love Franco’s for it’s convenient location and group exercise classes. The instructors are really friendly and extremely motivational! Kim especially is always there to cheer you on, encourage you and answer any questions you may have! She really makes the gym feel like a safe space! Thanks Kim!

I travel weekly for work, so I’m constantly searching for a solid gym wherever I land — and Franco’s on Magazine Street absolutely blew me away. Joey, the GM, was incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating. He even made sure I had a comfortable workspace between workouts, which was a huge plus. The facility has everything I need — clean showers, a relaxing sauna, tons of free weights, and a spotless, well-maintained environment. It’s rare to find a gym that checks every box, but Franco’s does. Huge thanks to Joey and the team for creating such a welcoming and top-tier space. This will definitely be my go-to spot every time I’m in town! 💪🔥
