The best gym experience in Austin! Gold's Gym Austin Highland is an absolute powerhouse of a fitness facility. The equipment is top of the line, always well maintained and there is more than enough variety to keep every workout fresh and challenging. The gym is spacious, clean and has a motivating atmosphere that pushes you to give your very best every single session. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always on hand to offer support whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned gym veteran. The group classes are fantastic and the personal training options are excellent. Joining Gold's Gym Highland is one of the best fitness decisions I have ever made and I look forward to every single visit!

Discriminatory practices by management against members. Worst gym ever. Editing since management wants to fight on here. I had underwear under my towel but that is not the issue here. You’re enforcing some rules by shouting people out in public but not enforcing others. Why would you not do the same to people wearing shoes in the sauna? This is called discrimination. Maybe focus your efforts on cleaning up the disgusting mold growing all over your showers?? And the “minors in the sauna” comment is total BS considering the sauna is IN the locker room where you’re clearly not policing people’s attire…

Dustin at the front desk is, by a longshot, the friendliest person I’ve interacted with at Gold’s Gym in all my years as a member. Not once have I walked past him without being greeted with a genuine smile. There are plenty of days where I show up not feeling like working out or even being at the gym at all, but Dustin has a way of instantly lifting my mood. His positivity and consistency really do make a difference. Although this review is for Dustin, I’d be remiss if I didn’t also give the gym itself a shoutout. The facility is consistently clean, the equipment seems to be well maintained, and the locker room area, unlike some other locations I’ve visited, is actually kept in really nice condition. But really, Gold’s Gym is lucky to have Dustin. He sets the example, and he’s a big reason for the five star rating! Customer service goes such a long way.

Don't join this gym. While the amenities are nice, the membership policies will not work with you. I am recovering from meniscus repair surgery and after calling multiple times, and sending the manager emails to pause my membership, I just got more hoops to jump through in response. There is also no way to cancel your membership by calling them or going in person. I will be going somewhere else where I am respected and treated fairly.

Been coming here for about 5 years, love this gym so much. Staff has always been great and even though I’ve seen a lot of faces over the years, I’ve never had issues with anyone. Renee is the best, always seems to be willing to go above and beyond. Highly recommend this gym.
