Subject: Formal Complaint – Extended Shower Facility Outage To Management, I am writing to formally express my concern regarding the ongoing outage of the shower facilities at EōS Fitness. Members have now been without access to these facilities for nearly three weeks due to a reported water or pipe leak between the gym and the neighboring business, Marshalls. While maintenance issues are sometimes unavoidable, the primary concern lies in the lack of timely communication and transparency throughout this extended disruption. As paying members, many of us plan our workouts around work and daily responsibilities, relying on the full range of amenities—especially the showers. Unfortunately, there has been no consistent update, repair timeline, or estimated completion date provided. This uncertainty has created unnecessary inconvenience and frustration among members. At a minimum, members should reasonably expect: • Transparent and consistent communication regarding the repair progress. • An estimated timeline for when the showers will be operational again. • Regular updates when delays or new developments occur. Given that this issue has persisted for nearly three weeks, I respectfully request that management provide a clear status update, an expected completion date, and consideration of appropriate accommodations for members affected by the ongoing outage. I had a very disappointing experience with Jonathan Burnett, the General Manager at the West Gray EōS Fitness location in Houston. I entered the gym normally, scanned in successfully, and was even told “Have a good workout” by staff, including Jonathan himself. About 15–20 minutes into my workout, after already changing clothes and beginning my session, I received an aggressive phone call from Jonathan questioning me about my membership and demanding that I immediately return to the front desk to upgrade. What bothered me most was not the membership issue itself, but the way it was handled. The tone was confrontational, unprofessional, and unnecessarily hostile. I calmly explained that I would come speak with him after finishing my workout, but instead of handling the situation respectfully, he repeatedly called my phone, searched the gym for me, and later accused me of “hanging up in his face.” As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with professionalism and respect, especially by management. The situation felt escalated for no reason and could have easily been handled through a simple respectful conversation at the front desk before I was allowed into the facility. To make matters worse, Jonathan later canceled my membership entirely, and I was informed it could not be reactivated under my original membership rate. This meant I would have been forced to pay significantly more than what I had originally agreed to because of how the situation was handled. The entire experience felt disrespectful, unnecessary, and poorly managed. A General Manager should know how to de-escalate situations and treat members with dignity instead of creating hostility in a public gym environment. I joined EōS Fitness to focus on my health and wellness, not to feel targeted or embarrassed while working out. I hope EōS leadership reviews how situations like this are handled because professionalism and customer service matter.

I’ve had a great experience at EōS Fitness - West Gray. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful with any questions or concerns. A special shoutout to the Front Desk Manager, Stephani — she consistently goes above and beyond to make members feel acknowledged and supported. One thing I really appreciate is that they greet me by my first name before I even check in. That level of attentiveness makes me feel valued and shows they truly recognize their regular members. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference. The facility itself is always clean, well-maintained, and organized. Towels are consistently stocked, and the overall environment feels professional and inviting. I definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a gym with both great energy and excellent customer

I want to give a huge thank you to the incredible staff at EōS Gym, especially Cam, Sofia, Logan, Stephanie, Johnathan, both Damons, Conner, and Gabe. From the moment you walk in, there’s a genuine sense of welcome that never feels forced. Everyone treats members and complete strangers alike with the same kindness, respect, and professionalism. What really stands out is the consistency. No matter the day or time, the energy is positive, the teamwork is obvious, and the staff shows up for each other and for the members. You can tell this is a group that communicates well, supports one another, and takes pride in creating a truly five star experience. It’s rare to find a gym where the environment feels this encouraging and human. EōS has built something special, and the staff is the reason why. Thank you all for making the gym a place people actually want to be.

Went in reluctant yet enthused to workout and was told after I proceeded into the gym that I didn’t have a Lux membership. Which is unheard to me because I’ve been to all locations multiple times. And then I was almost upsold on a more expensive option which is extremely predatory.
