I’ve had a solid experience here overall. The equipment is in good shape, there’s enough variety to get a full workout in, and for the price it really is a great gym. The only downside has been the front desk experience—one staff member in particular can come across as curt and unfriendly, which isn’t a great first impression. I’m not looking for over-the-top friendliness, just basic courtesy and consistency. Overall a great place to get a solid workout in.

This gym is managed extremely well (Shane) I believe is the managers name really cares and it shows. I really like the layout of the gym it helps me get in and out just like I like. If a machine is broken it’s usually fixed within a week. Also the gym is very clean and you even see Shane leading from the front and take time to clean himself. As a construction manager myself, I think that’s very important for the people under you to see to know that you care. It’s very easy to push tasks on others and I appreciate that. My only complaint is like some others have said one woman running the front desk is rude and pretty stand offish. (Not a big deal, but what are you mad about really?) Then alot of the time the lower weights 5-25lbs (two full dumbbell sets an one in the back downstairs and even the curl bars) are missing and no where in sight. Where they go idk. This isn’t a huge deal to me bc it’s like that in alot of gyms. Perhaps Posting a couple of big signs saying the dumbbells can’t leave the free weight area would help? People should not horde weights, most people just need them for 15-20 seconds tops. I live right next to the western center location and drive out of my way to come to this gym. I kind of didn’t want to write this because I don’t want the gym to get to crowded 😄. But good people that take their job seriously should get their Laurels!

Not a good experience with the front desk. I just moved to the area so I was going to check out this location as an option for membership, but they wouldn’t let me use the trial pass because my drivers license hadn’t been updated as a local resident (been here 2 weeks) and I’d had a previous membership in the city I moved from. The people make the place, so that made it easy to cross this one off my list.

This was by far one of the most neglected gyms I have been to in a long time. It looks like it built 20 years ago, and the equipment has not been updated or fixed ever since. The padding on equipment is nonexistent or torn, the treadmills are in bad shape, the stair masters are extremely clanky and not smooth, the cable attachments are old and beat up, the bathrooms are in really bad, and the entire gym is simply just not maintained or updated. I started my gym membership there without touring (big mistake) and I canceled it after 2 visits.

Recently switched over from a smaller gym and I love the space and how clean the staff keeps it. Shane did an excellent job in signing me up and explaining my benefits that came with membership. He’s always at the door with a smile and greets guests by their name! I love it!
